Rapid Intervention Skid Units — configurable direct attack modules for any vehicle
Vallfirest Skid Units are robust and reliable firefighting modules that can be adapted to any type of light vehicle, pick-up, UTV or trailer. Engineered with technology, innovation and high-quality components, they deliver outstanding performance in forest management, wildland firefighting and emergency operations across the most demanding terrain.
Available in polyethylene and stainless steel tank configurations from 400 to 600 litres, and with a choice of centrifugal, membrane or piston pump configurations, the Vallfirest Skid Unit range covers every operational scenario. Piston pump variants deliver operating pressures of up to 200 bar, while centrifugal configurations provide maximum flow rates of up to 390 litres per minute. Manual and electric hose reels are available up to 100 metres, and all units include a foam proportioner system as standard or optional depending on configuration.
The Tactical Unit 2 extends this capability further — a large-capacity module designed to carry up to 3,000 litres of water into the most inaccessible areas, adaptable to light trucks including Unimog and Iveco platforms. It can also be equipped with a Heliskid for aerial water resupply, dramatically reducing refill times in remote operations.

The Vallfirest product range extends well beyond skid units, covering every aspect of wildland firefighting from personal protective equipment to aerial solutions. The vft Safety division offers next-generation helmets, goggles, protective clothing and the Xtreme Family range — all designed exclusively for wildland firefighters operating in the most demanding conditions. The range carries certifications including EN16471, EN16473, EN 12492, EN 397 and EN 443.
On the frontline, the vft Black Hawk portable pump family (BH1, BH2 and BH4) provides lightweight, high-performance pumping from 21 lbs / 9.5 kg, reaching maximum pressures of up to 418 psi / 28.8 bar and maximum flow rates of up to 447 litres per minute. The range is compatible with foam-forming agents and certified to UNE-EN 14466:2006 fire pump standards. The innovative Dronster — a remotely operated tracked machine — can triple hand crew performance, operating on slopes of up to 50° and through passages as narrow as 1 metre.
For self-protection and entrapment scenarios, Vallfirest offers complete self-protection kits including BH4 pump, SIDEINFO sprinkler system covering 1,900 to 6,400 m², fire-retardant vehicle curtains with TECSTAR inner lining rated to over 300°C thermal shock, and the all-new self-protection nozzle delivering an 11 m wide water screen.
